HOW DID ALL THESE LIFEFORMS GET HERE?
When it comes to the origin of life, humanity has only two possible answers relative to how life began:
In the above illustration of the cell, notice that I have given small icons to a few of the organelles (microscopic structures that have important function) to help illustrate their activity vital to life. Each of these different organelles have vital functions that must take place in order for life to exist. These icons demonstrate a little bit about the organelle's function. For instance, the ribosomes are like little factories for producing proteins. The transportation vesicles function like a UPS or USPS mail service and make deliveries of the products produced by the factories. They even have chemical markers on them that function like bar codes on packages insuring their proper delivery. The mitochondria function as energy producing plants.

Darwinian evolution informs us that if we have enough time, information will just spontaneously develop by the natural properties of matter. This is a leap of faith. Did you get that? Darwinian evolution expects you to take a leap of faith when it proposes that information self-originates. Nowhere on this planet do we observe information spontaneously forming. Intelligent information always originates from intelligent sources. None of us, upon finding a blueprint of a building design would conclude that the blueprint formed by the properties of wood and minerals!
Let's just allow that leap of faith for a moment and we will assume that the information somehow put itself together. There is another serious problem:
Information does not translate into action without structure. Something is needed to take the information and put it into action. A blueprint may be full of information. But it does not create anything without some kind of system of reading the information and putting it into action.

INFORMATION
A person can buy a blank DVD disc, like this one to the right, for less than a dollar. But if I buy a disk from Microsoft Corporation that has a newer version of Windows operating system on it, the cost may well be over hundred dollars. What is it that I'm paying for? I am paying for a tremendous amount of information that was tediously put together by a team of thousands and thousands of people. I am buying intelligently designed information. The DVD is simply the media to store the information. The DNA molecule in each one of our cells contains information. The DNA molecule is the media for the massive information necessary for life.

When you hold a DVD up to light you can see lines indicating where information has been burned onto the disk. That is about all you can do with the disk. That information is inaccessible to us without an appropriate structure to read it and utilize. You need a DVD drive to read the information and a computer system to put the information to work. The computer (which is the structure) is useless without the information. And the information is useless without the computer.
Thinking in terms of a computer, it is obvious that somebody built the computer and that somebody developed the code. No one would believe that a computer and its code spontaneously developed out of the natural properties of matter. That is silliness.

I believe science is a magnificent course of study to pursue. But I also have discovered that Darwinian evolution is a nonscientific faith imposed upon science. Regretfully, when people have been taught it so long and its concepts have been reinforced in most museums, textbooks, and schools they cannot see how impossible it is for life to spontaneously arise by the natural properties of matter.
